For the second year a choice can be made among
CTU in Prague (Czech Republic)
which offers the specialisation:
- Advanced Powertrains (Internal Combustion Engines, Design, Simulation, Experimental testing,...)
ENSTA Bretagne (Brest, France)
studies in French with choice of two specialisations:
- Design of vehicles
- Modeling and simulation by means of FEM (specific for motor vehicles)
HAN (Arnhem, The Netherlands)
studies in English with specialization:
- Vehicle dynamics and Intelligent transport systems.
TU Chemnitz (Germany)
offers the specialisation:
- Alternative Powertrains (hydrogen propelled vehicles, electric vehicles, Energy Recovery Systems,...)
The focus of the second year is to understand the processes in a fuel cell system, the system itself and its design as well as electric systems for automotive FC powertrains.
Last semester is devoted to the final thesis with condition that five months will be spent on work period at a vehicle or vehicle parts manufacturer or research center wherever in the world.
IFP (Paris, France) studies in French or English (depending on specialisation). Total duration of studies are on IFP are 22 months. The internship periods are integrated in the study program.
